The Crow: A Summer Renga (part iv)

Bougainvillea blush - clk

drunk again
the blush of

that we might have
bigger fires

Australian quality
stainless steel legs
on the lawn swan

so deceptive
the neighbour’s manicured nails

as a gymnast slips
wetly off the bar

sun warmed
the orphaned nestling

This one might be my favorite so far! It all sounds so…warm!

  2. Oh what a delightful morning treat for me….just an excellent verse.

I particularly like the Australian quality barbecue and the transition from slippery gymnast to wet nestling. Well done, all!
