Grace (for t.h.e)

photograph by Cindy Keong

At the front of the queue
mother and daughter
curse the mouth
that has swallowed the last
of their ping-pong balls

You and I look on
amazed at the generosity
of the clown
who through all this
keeps smiling

  1. That’s gorgeous – haha – I bet those clowns have seen it all.

  2. What a nice bit at the end of the poem…enjoyed it much!
